Qualus is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Protection & Control to lead a team of protection and control engineers, drafters and technicians on major utility substations. The role focuses on mentoring staff, coordinating with multiple groups, and delivering complete engineering design packages for relaying and communications.

The candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of P&C experience, PE registration or plan to obtain it, and familiarity with AutoCAD and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in the industry.
Ten+ years of electrical engineering experience with protection and control.
PE registration or plan to become registered; working state registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of protection & control engineers, technicians, and drafters from proposal to as-built.
Coordinate with Substation Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups for design concurrence.
Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems.
