Leidos is seeking an Associate Substation Protection and Controls Engineer in Framingham, MA. You will work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer and develop skills in substation engineering while gaining increasing independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Good understanding of electric power generation, transmission and distribution.
• Keen focus on quality and deliverables; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with Protection and Control design on utility substation projects.
• Perform basic engineering calculations to support design.
• Follow the established Quality Control Plan while completing assignments.
• Assist with the preparation of project deliverables including drawings, reports and correspondence.
• Collaborate with other substation engineering disciplines as required.
• Assist with developing processes to improve project execution efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and files with a high level of organization.
• Seek opportunities to improve technical knowledge and understanding of the work.
• Support Leidos' goals and represent the company professionally.
