Leidos is seeking a Substation Protection & Control Engineer to design protection and control projects for electric utilities from 12kV to 500kV. The role involves creating substation drawings, performing studies, and ensuring QA/QC across the project lifecycle.

Hybrid work is available with 3 days in Framingham, MA, plus in-person client interactions as needed. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant design/field testing experience, strong

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of substation protection design/field testing experience.
• Experience executing substation protection and control projects.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team.

Aufgaben

• Design and planning for substation protection, transmission, and distribution facilities, including single-lines and schematics.
• Prepare studies and reports for transmission and distribution systems and perform quality checks.
• Read and design substation protection drawings (one-line, three-line, AC/DC schematics).
• Collaborate with designers/drafters to produce required drawings and deliverables.
