Job summary

Dacon, the DACON unit of Dashiell Corporation, seeks a Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects in Fresno, CA. You will oversee substations and power systems, manage bid estimation input, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.

You will develop schedules, manage costs, and maintain client relationships while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with procurement and engineering. A PMP and strong PM software skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field; experience may substitute year-for-year.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in electrical construction or power systems.
• PMI-PMP preferred; proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects for DACON’s substations and power systems.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts; monitor deviations.
• Serve as primary client contact; maintain strong relationships throughout the project.
• Direct and mentor Assistant PMs and staff; manage change orders and invoicing.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and field supervision to ensure safety and quality.
