Job summary

DACON, the construction business unit of Dashiell Corporation, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of substation and power systems projects from our Fresno, CA office.

Working with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, you will develop foundational project management and estimating skills while contributing to bid support and project delivery across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 4 years equivalent considered.
• Minimum 2 years of project coordination, construction administration, or field engineering experience, preferably in electrical construction or power systems.
• Familiarity with substation construction or medium- to high-voltage electrical systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Support coordinations of subcontracts, purchase orders, and materials procurement.
• Monitor progress; report variances to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation and meeting minutes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related technical field
