Job summary

Dacon, the construction unit of Dashiell Corporation, seeks a Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects within substation and power systems. Based in Deer Park, TX, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will contribute to competitive estimates and bid development, and hand off to execution with a focus on safety, quality, and cost control, including travel to project sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in electrical construction or substation work.
• Experience managing projects from $2M to $20M+ in substation or high-voltage infra.
• PMP preferred; strong schedule and cost-control capabilities.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project; Procore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle management of electrical construction projects in substation and power systems.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts; track deviations and corrective actions.
• Serve as primary client contact; maintain strong relationships throughout the project.
• Direct kickoff and progress meetings with internal teams, subs, and clients.
• Oversee subcontracts, vendor agreements, and material procurement.
• Mentor Assistant PMs and project support staff; manage change orders and invoicing.
• Handoff estimates to execution with clear cost assumptions and scope inclusions.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans and regulatory requirements.
