Job summary

EVS, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Substation in Eden Prairie, MN (Hybrid/Remote) to lead substation design projects from planning through delivery. You will drive technical leadership, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high‑quality results for clients.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, proven substation project experience, and strong communication and leadership skills. Hybrid/remote work options are available with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
Proven experience managing substation or related engineering projects from design through delivery.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Oversee quality control, ensuring deliverables meet internal and client standards.
Coordinate across disciplines to align goals, deadlines, and design criteria.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients—ensuring clear, timely communication.
Support proposal development, including scope, design criteria, and schedule input.
Lead project documentation efforts, maintaining organized and accurate records.
Manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals reflecting current status.
Mentor junior engineers and promote collaboration and growth.
