The role emphasizes relay coordination, NEC/IEEE standards, and delivering compliant drawings, calculations, and documents. Growth within a growing substation team is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of substation protection and controls experience.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEEE standards.
• Experience with protection drawings, schematics, and control diagrams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop protection and control designs for substation projects.
• Prepare relay protection drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
• Review project requirements and Basis of Design documents.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, physical design, and power studies teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project managers.
