Job summary

Crescent Solutions is seeking a Substation Project Engineer to support the development and execution of high‑voltage substation projects from concept to commissioning. This role coordinates internal stakeholders and external engineering firms to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management and communication skills, plus the ability to oversee technical aspects without hands‑on design, with travel across North America as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; 5+ years in substation engineering or project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Willingness to travel within North America as required.

Responsibilities

• Support substation projects from conception through construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external Engineers of Record (EORs) to ensure compliant designs.
• Develop scopes of work, obtain bids, evaluate proposals, and support award recommendations.
• Provide technical oversight and challenge engineering solutions without hands‑on design.
• Monitor project status, risks, and costs; communicate with management and ISC.
• Collaborate with OEMs to adapt designs to NEER engineering and execution standards.
