Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an Engineering Manager - Substation with a strong background in high-voltage substations. You will lead design teams, manage projects, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with NEC, NESC, and IEEE standards. ABET-accredited degree and P.E. license are required.

You will collaborate with field operations, procurement, and clients while guiding the project lifecycle from planning through closeout. Travel is required up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• P.E. license required.
• Extensive HV substation project experience.
• Strong leadership and project-management skills.
• Familiar with NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception to closeout, including planning and construction support.
• Supervise engineers, designers, and staff; provide coaching and reviews.
• Evaluate contractors and consultants; ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and quality control across projects.
• Collaborate with design teams and stakeholders to develop solutions.
