Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead day-to-day procurement for high-voltage substation EPC projects. You will supervise Buyers and Purchasing Administrators and coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Field Operations from our Raleigh, NC office at 11000 Regency Pkwy, Suite 107.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of purchasing experience, including supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in EPC, construction, or industrial environments.
• Experience supervising or leading buyers or purchasing staff.
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and procurement controls.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of Buyers and Purchasing Administrators.
• Oversee daily purchasing activities for substation EPC projects, including major equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
• Ensure purchase orders are issued accurately, timely, and in accordance with budgets and schedules.
• Monitor open orders, expedite long-lead equipment, and resolve delivery or documentation issues.
• Support supplier selection and pricing negotiations as required.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and Construction to align procurement with schedules.
