Job summary

Dashiell, a Quanta Services unit, leads procurement for electrical EPC projects from Salt Lake City. This Senior Procurement Manager will ensure materials, equipment, and services meet schedules, budgets, and risk objectives, guiding a project-level team and coordinating with Engineering, Project Management, and Construction.

The role requires 7+ years in procurement within EPC/industrial settings, strong supplier negotiations, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience in EPC, construction, utility, power, or industrial environments.
• Experience leading project-level procurement teams for EPC or large-scale construction projects.
• Solid understanding of EPC lifecycles and integration of engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Experience with sourcing engineered equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing ongoing supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement execution for assigned EPC projects, ensuring on-schedule, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Translate corporate procurement strategies into actionable project plans.
• Serve as primary escalation point for procurement issues and liaise with senior leadership for decisions.
• Supervise project-level procurement staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Construction to align procurement with specs and sequencing.
• Monitor commitments, material-related risks, and cost forecasts with Project Controls and Finance.
• Support bid-phase and project startup activities, including vendor selection and pricing validation.
