Leidos is seeking a Substation Physical Engineer to join our Power Delivery team. You will work on substation projects from 12kV to 500kV, applying knowledge of digital logic, AC/DC circuits, and protective schemes while collaborating with utilities and clients.

Hybrid schedule with 2-3 in-office days across multiple locations; travel to project sites; ongoing development through training, mentorship, and leadership paths. Fast-paced, collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field with 2+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Senior/Lead level requires 6+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Experience with grounding studies/lightning protection and lighting studies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal teams and clients to meet project needs.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work in a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Execute substation physical design projects.
• Read and design substation drawings (one-line, three-line, plan-section, foundation, grounding).
• Create and check bill of materials for substation physical designs.
• Attend site visits at customer locations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet project needs.
