Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Five to ten years of supervisory experience in substation or electric utility operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to coordinate staffing, materials and equipment across multiple sections.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance activities for T&D substations.
• Coordinates maintenance and construction of assets by arranging staffing, materials and equipment with other sections and contractors.
• Responsible for reliability and condition of substation assets.
• Analyzes maintenance data and inputs it into the company database accurately.
• Sets expectations and provides ongoing performance feedback; conducts comprehensive reviews per bargaining unit contracts.
• Ensures proper application of local union contracts and resolves grievances timely.
• Directs safety initiatives and monitors safety performance within the group.
• Maintains a customer-first attitude and collaborates with departments to resolve issues.
