Job summary

Eversource is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead the construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. You will analyze maintenance data, coordinate staffing, materials, and equipment, and ensure the reliability of substation assets.

The role requires at least five years in substation operations, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities at various voltages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance for T&D substations.
• Coordinates staffing, materials, and equipment for projects with other sections and contractors.
• Ensures reliability and condition of substation assets; analyzes maintenance data.
• Leads safety initiatives and performance reviews; enforces union contracts as applicable.
• On-call, off-hours and weekend work may be required.
