Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Substation Supervisor to lead construction, maintenance, and repair of T&D substations. You will analyze maintenance data, ensure safety standards, and coordinate staffing, materials, and contractors to meet schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of related experience, with preference for substation operations, supervisory background, and CDL. Expect emergency restoration and travel across MA/CT/NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience required.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of substation facilities preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance activities for T&D substations.
• Coordinates maintenance and construction of assets with staffing and equipment across sections.
• Responsible for the reliability and condition of substation assets.
• Inputs maintenance data directly into the company database.
• Sets expectations, provides feedback, and conducts performance reviews.
• Addresses grievances and ensures safety compliance within the group.
• Leads safety awareness initiatives and promotes a strong safety culture.
• Maintains a customer-first attitude and collaborates to resolve issues.
• Participates in on-call rotations and shift work including weekends.
• Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
