Qualifications

• Experience in substations or as electrician/helper; basic substation knowledge.
• Developing knowledge of construction, testing, maintenance, and repair of substations.
• Ability to understand and follow directions; must have all necessary tools; must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen with planning, layout, and installation of substation components.
• Operate hand and power tools; install conduits, wiring, and grounding leads.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety programs to prevent injuries.
