Job summary

Requirements include at least 2 years in substations or electrician helper roles, 18+ years old, and readiness for pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working on substations or as an electrician or helper.
• Must have all necessary tools (Substation Helper Tool List).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pre-employment onboarding may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman in planning, layout, installation, testing, and repair of substation construction per plans and standards.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and install conduits, cable, and duct banks; dig trenches; install control equipment; test systems for safety.
