Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Substation Helper 3 to assist journeymen with planning, layout, installation and testing of substation components at a Victoria, TX project.

Work includes conduit and cable installation, grounding, and coordination with other crafts. The role requires at least 2 years of substations or electrician helper experience, US work authorization, and adherence to safety standards on a non-union site.

Qualifications

• Experience working on substations or as an electrician helper.
• Ability to read and follow plans and instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman in planning, laying out, installing and testing substation components.
• Handle conduits, cable, duct banks and grounding leads per plans and specs.
• Support safety procedures; participate in pre-job safety meetings and on-site training.
