Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation electrical equipment with increasing independence. You will troubleshoot, document findings, and support commissioning activities while prioritizing safety and quality.

Candidates should have an electrical/electronic technology background, NETA II certification, 2–4 years in the industry, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or Military experience preferred.
• 2–4 years relevant industry experience.
• NETA II Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements in substation environments.
• Perform testing of high, medium, and low voltage equipment with limited supervision.
• Inspect and maintain circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot equipment using schematics and manuals; escalate complex issues.
• Document testing, maintenance, and repairs per project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to complete field activities safely.
