The role emphasizes safety, detailed documentation, and collaboration with engineers and senior technicians to ensure equipment readiness for service.

The ideal candidate has electrical/electronic technology training, NETA II certification, and the willingness to travel for project assignments across North America.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Willingness to travel out of town and work overtime as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements in substation environments.
• Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of high/medium/low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics and manuals; escalate complex problems.
• Document testing and maintenance activities accurately per project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to complete field tasks efficiently.
