Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the planning, design, and execution of substation projects. You will manage engineers and technical staff, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across transmission initiatives.

This senior role requires strong leadership, budgets, schedules, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with strategic goals and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in electric utility engineering/management.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license required.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of utility codes and standards (ANSI, NEC, NESC, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and implementation of substation projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Represent company at industry forums and meetings.
• Drive innovation and operational excellence.
