Quanta Services is seeking a Designer – Substation to support substation design projects across our QISG platform. The role focuses on routine 2D/3D CAD tasks with attention to accuracy and standards compliance, using AutoCAD, Inventor and SDS.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in Drafting & Design, 4+ years in electric utility CAD/design, and strong communication. Travel may be required to support project needs.

Qualificações

• 4+ years CAD/design experience in electric utility substation projects.
• Experience with 3D design software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SDS).
• Strong communication and ability to work with engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel for project support.

Responsabilidades

• Support substation design projects with routine 2D/3D CAD tasks.
• Develop and maintain quality drawing packages for internal and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams under Lead Designer.
• Ensure accuracy, standards compliance, and document management.
• Travel for project-related site visits as required.
