Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Designer - Substation to support substation design projects across the QISG platform. The role emphasizes accuracy, CAD proficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

You will work under a Lead Designer, collaborating with engineers and drafting teams to develop and maintain quality drawing packages for both internal and client-facing deliverables. Travel may be required for project needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent preferred.
• 4-year Engineering Technology degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support substation design projects from inception to completion.
• Utilize 3D and/or smart design software for substation design.
• Maintain quality drawing packages for internal and client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams under Lead Designer guidance.
• Adhere to corporate engineering practices and quality control standards.
