Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Designer - Substation to support design projects across the QISG platform, performing routine 2D/3D Physical and/or Protection & Control (P&C) design tasks with strong CAD proficiency. This role emphasizes accuracy, standards, and collaboration with engineers and drafting teams.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree in Drafting & Design, 4+ years of electric utility CAD/design experience for HV substations, and proficiency with AutoCAD,

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent; a 4-year Eng Tech degree is a plus.
• 4+ years’ experience in electric utility CAD/design for high voltage substation projects.
• Experience with 3D and/or smart design software (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, SDS) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work on design aspects from project inception to completion on various substation projects.
• Utilize 3D and/or smart design software for substation design.
• Demonstrate knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure workmanship standards.
• Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work.
• Travel to project sites for site visits as required.
