Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Substation Engineer-in-Training in Denver, CO. The role focuses on designing substation layouts, lightning protection, grounding, and wiring schemes, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines.

The candidate will produce schematic diagrams and relay panel layouts and join a collaborative design team, with opportunities for growth while working onsite in Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Up to 2 years of experience.
• Must have passed FE Exam or will take within next 6 months.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design substation physical layouts, lighting, conduit and cable plans.
• Generate single- and three-line schematic diagrams and DC schematics.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, transmission line and graphics disciplines.
• Work as part of a design team; may be assigned to multiple projects.

FE exam in 6 months
