Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Substation Engineer-in-Training to join our Denver, CO team. You will assist in the design of substation layouts, grounding, conduit plans, and schematic diagrams as part of a cross-disciplinary design team.

The role requires an ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering, up to 2 years of experience, and FE exam readiness. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are essential for success in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• FE Exam passed or will be taking it within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States for any length of time.

Responsibilities

• Design substation physical layouts, lighting, grounding analysis, conduit and cable plans, and panel wiring layouts.
• Generate single- and three-line diagrams, DC schematics, and relay panel layouts.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, transmission, and graphics disciplines on projects.
