Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Substation Student Intern to join our Denver, CO office. You will work with our design team to learn substation layouts, grounding, protection schemes, and related drawings.

Qualified students must be enrolled in a BSEE program at an ABET-accredited university, with coursework in power systems, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and strong communication skills. This onsite internship offers exposure to multiple projects with mentoring in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSEE program at ABET-accredited university.
• Local to the CO area preferred.
• Coursework or experience in power system analysis.
• Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work legally in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn substation design aspects and related standards.
• Assist with design of substation layouts, grounding, protection schemes, and schematics.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, transmission line, and graphics disciplines.
• Work as part of a design team and on multiple projects as assigned.
