Stanley Consultants in Muscatine, IA seeks an Engineer-In-Training 1, Electrical Substation to assist in designing substation layouts, lightning protection, conduit and cable plans, grounding, and schematic diagrams. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on multiple projects in a hands-on design environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Up to 2 years of engineering experience.
• Must have passed FE Exam or will take within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of substation physical layouts and lighting protection.
• Develop conduit and cable plans and grounding analysis/design.
• Create single- and three-line diagrams, panel wiring, and DC schematics.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, transmission, and graphics disciplines.
• Work as part of a design team on multiple projects.
