Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substations expertise to lead complex electrical infrastructure projects.

You will create project definitions, schedules, budgets, manage costs, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Travel up to 10% is required; a Bachelor's degree, 13+ years of experience, and PMI CCM/DBIA/PMP within 12 months are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMI, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Significant design-build/EPC experience with substations.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and subcontractor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitors project risks, change management, and project status.
• Coordinates and monitors technical work and progress toward deliverables.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
• Prepares monthly reports, bid packages and addenda.
