Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate field construction on Substation projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets are met. The role requires travel and leadership of site teams across disciplines.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, supporting subcontract bids, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years construction supervisory experience required.
• OSHA Training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field construction activities to align with schedule, safety, cost, and quality targets.
• Provide methods, staffing, and materials to support Substation construction.
• Develop and maintain safety programs and construction procedures.
• Assist in subcontract development and project risk reviews.
• Monitor productivity, progress, cost, and reporting; implement corrective actions when needed.
