Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI - A MasTec Company) seeks a Substation Superintendent to lead day-to-day field activities and reporting for a high-voltage project.

The role requires coordinating ground and lead personnel from Groundman to Leadman, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will develop and execute the project plan, manage resources, review plans for constructability, and communicate weekly updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and internal systems.
• Ability to apply basic engineering principles to construction challenges.
• Schedule, monitor, and forecast resources for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute the project plan to schedule and ensure compliance with budged.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Track and communicate weekly project report and generates 3 weeks look ahead.
• Ensure project materials and workmanship meets the project quality standards and design requirements.
• Initiate and conduct project meetings with staff assigned to the project and management if necessary.
• Review and address plan details, resolve issues before they result in added budget expenditures.
• Advise Superintendent of any potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts.
• Enforce site specific plans and procedures that are in line with EEI’s culture and safety requirements.
• Review and submit weekly time sheets to payroll for processing.
• Maintain the project’s daily job diary.
