Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI) is seeking a Substation Field Engineer to support the Construction Manager and Project Manager on power transmission projects. Responsibilities include quality control, RFIs, submittals, testing, and ensuring work aligns with drawings and specs.

The role requires extensive travel, long hours, and occasional weekend work. A HS Diploma is required; a BS in Electrical Engineering-Construction Management or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; team-oriented management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project-specific quality control records and ensure reporting.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate audits/inspections; document results.
• Assist with material inventory and receiving paperwork.
• Assist with final job closeout, as-builts, and job binder creation.
• Assist with subcontractor scheduling and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel 100% for project-specific work.
• Extended hours and weekend work may be required.
• Assist with RFI submittals.
