Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI) seeks a Substation Foreman to supervise day-to-day substation field crews and support project execution under the Project Manager.

The role covers a range from Groundman to Leadman, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards in demanding field environments. Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills are required, with a focus on safety compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency.
• Ability to apply basic engineering principles to construction challenges.
• Ability to visualize entire project and anticipate constructability issues.
• Schedule, monitor and forecast resources for optimum efficiency.
• Ability to manage others and multiple facets of the project.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute the project plan to schedule and ensure compliance with budget.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Track and communicate weekly project report and generate 3 weeks look ahead.
• Ensure project materials and workmanship meet quality standards and design requirements.
• Initiate and conduct project meetings with staff and management.
• Review plan details and resolve issues to avoid budget overruns.
• Advise Superintendent of potential problems and help resolve conflicts.
• Enforce site-specific plans and EEI safety requirements.
• Review and submit weekly time sheets to payroll.
• Maintain the project’s daily job diary.
