Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC seeks a Designer – Substation to support design projects across the QISG platform. You will perform routine 2D/3D Physical and Protection & Control tasks with emphasis on accuracy, standards compliance, and CAD proficiency, under a Lead Designer.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in electric utility CAD/design for high voltage substations, with AutoCAD/Inventor/SDS experience and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in electric utility CAD/design for high voltage substations.
• Experience with 3D design software and SDS is preferred.
• Strong ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support substation design projects from inception to completion.
• Create 2D/3D drawings and maintain drawing packages.
• Ensure design work meets standards and quality control.
• Travel occasionally for site visits.
