Quanta Government Solutions seeks a Designer - Substation to support substation design projects across the QISG platform. The role emphasizes accurate CAD work, industry standards, and collaboration with engineers and drafting teams.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of substation materials and design standards, and proficiency with AutoCAD and SDS. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent preferred.
• 4+ years in CAD/design for high voltage substation projects preferred.
• Experience with 3D design software is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work on design aspects from project inception to completion.
• Utilize 3D and/or smart design software for substation design.
• Maintain quality drawing packages for internal and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams under Lead Designer.
