Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a full-time Clinical Supervisor for our Residential Rehabilitation program in Elgin, IL. You will supervise daily operations and delivery of substance use services, providing direct supervision to counselors and staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and productive outcomes.

This role requires strong leadership, experience in substance use services, and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a social service field preferred.
• CADC or ability to obtain CADC within 18 months of hire is required.
• LPC/LCPC or LSW/LCSW preferred.
• Background check clearance required and TB test annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, training, and support to Residential Rehabilitation staff.
• Oversee curriculum delivery and scheduling of clinical services.
• Meet reporting, productivity, and service deliverable requirements identified by funders.
• Review documentation for compliance with SUPR and Part 2060.
• Ensure adherence to NASW Code of Ethics and maintain professional conduct.

LSSI is hiring a full-time Clinical Supervisor, Monday through Friday. Supervise the daily operations and delivery of substance use services in a Residential Rehabilitation Program. Provide direct supervision to Counselor and Case Aide staff.Ensure compliance with various regulatory and funding entities. Ensure productivity, census, and outcome measure are met.

Essential Functions:

• Provide direct supervision, training, and support to Residential Rehabilitation staff, including Counselors, Case Aides, Housekeepers, and others.
• Oversee Curriculum delivery to clients and the scheduling of clinical services in the Residential Rehabilitation program.
• Meet reporting, productivity, and service deliverable requirements identified by LSSI, SUPR, and funding bodies. Collaborate with other LSSI programs/departments, including Central Intake and Development, as needed.
• Review both written and EHR documentation to ensure compliance with SUPR and Part 2060.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards of treatment, including NASW Code of Ethics.
• Familiarity with Emergency Procedures.
• Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, and other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a social service field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in substance use field with increasing levels of responsibility preferred.
• CADC or the ability to obtain a CADC within 18 months of hire is required.
• LPC/LCPC or LSW/LCSW is preferred.
• Background check clearance is required.
• Annual TB test is required.
• Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
• Demonstrated proficiency in EHR documentation and review.
• Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Occasional driving may be required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing for the state of residency and insurance.
• Valid Illinois Statutory and liability insurance coverage is required.
