Job summary

Spring Health is hiring a full-time psychotherapist to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to adults with substance use disorders via telehealth. You will assess, diagnose, and treat clients using MI/MET, CBT for SUD, relapse prevention, and harm reduction within an ASAM-informed framework.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in PA, NY, TX, or CA.
• 2+ years post-licensed experience.
• Ability to work a full 40 hour week.
• Comfortable with virtual/telehealth.
• Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals with SUD.
• Trained in MI/MET and CBT for SUD or related approaches.
• Ability to assess severity, relapse risk, withdrawal risk, and need for higher levels of care.
• Collaborates with prescribing clinicians as part of an integrated care team.
• Commitment to quality clinical care and ongoing professional development.
• Able to work independently while valuing team support and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy for adults with SUD and co-occurring conditions using MI/MET, CBT for SUD, relapse prevention, and harm reduction.
• Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments to inform individualized treatment planning.
• Develop ASAM-informed treatment plans with care level recommendations and referrals.
• Support members across all stages of recovery with compassionate, recovery-oriented care.
• Collaborate with medication managers, care navigators, and peer specialists to coordinate care.
• Monitor progress with measurement-based care and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Provide mental health counseling, risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete required internal training, assignments, and attend Spring Health Clinical Team meetings.
• Follow policies and maintain confidentiality, compliance, and ethics.
• Review monthly projections and outcomes to monitor quality client care.
