Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a licensed psychotherapist in the United States to deliver specialized substance use disorder interventions to our member network via telehealth.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop ASAM-informed treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, and monitor progress to ensure high-quality, confidential care across all recovery stages. This role offers full-time hours with remote work and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in PA, NY, TX, or CA.
• 2+ years of post-licensed experience.
• Ability to work a full 40 hour work week.
• Telehealth competent and comfortable with virtual care.
• At least two years delivering psychotherapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
• Trained in MI/MET and CBT for SUD or related evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments to inform treatment planning.
• Develop ASAM-informed, person-centered treatment plans with appropriate care referrals.
• Support members across all recovery stages with compassionate, recovery-oriented care.
• Collaborate with Medication Managers, Specialty Care Navigators, and Peer Recovery Specialists.
• Monitor progress using measurement-based care and adjust treatment plans to improve outcomes.
• Provide mental health counseling, safety planning, and crisis intervention when needed.
• Complete required internal trainings and attend Clinical Team meetings.
• Follow confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards.
