Behavioral Health Group (BHG) in Missouri seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual and group counseling and to develop and maintain treatment plans for patients in recovery.

The role offers a 5:00 AM–1:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, with pay of $22.00–$25.00 hourly plus bonus structure and a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability protection, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must hold MAADC, CRADC, and CADC credentials.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships by providing individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders.
• Welcome new and returning patients by guiding them through the intake and orientation process.
• Connect patients with community resources and help them access the support they need.
• Follow up on referrals and perform necessary follow-ups.
• Foster an inclusive environment where every patient is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements.
