Job summary

Behavioral Health Group - BHG is seeking a compassionate Counselor to support patient-centered recovery. You will conduct counseling sessions, develop treatment plans, and guide patients through intake and orientation.

The role emphasizes building trust and connecting patients with community resources. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:00AM–2:00PM shift, $27.00–$31.00 per hour plus a bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in health services or business or related field.
• LCAS or LCAS-A certification is required.
• Must be registered with NCASPPB (North Carolina Board).
• Behavioral health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships through individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders.
• Welcome new and returning patients by guiding them through intake and orientation.
• Connect patients with community resources and help them access support.
• Follow up on referrals and perform necessary follow-ups.
• Foster an inclusive environment with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
