Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Subsidy Tuition Coordinator in Massachusetts to support centers with child care assistance programs. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agency requirements, and deliver exemplary customer service to field operations and government agencies.

You will align strategy, process authorizations, manage reimbursements, and maintain accurate subsidy records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bookkeeping, billing, and accounts receivable experience preferred.
• 10-key proficiency.
• Strong digital literacy covering financial systems and MS Office.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a multi-task environment.

Responsibilities

• Align to subsidy tuition strategy and adapt to change.
• Acquire agency contracts and review requirements.
• Process and maintain authorizations; secure reimbursements.
• Complete AR transfers and discounts; update field operations.
• Review attendance and billing per agency guidelines.
• Reconcile payments; AR adjustments and re-bill opportunities.
• Follow up on AR and prepay balances until resolved.
• Prepare and distribute reports; monitor for unusual items.
• Audit and reconcile center financial records and adjustments.
• Maintain subsidy records per guidelines and procedures.
• Develop relationships with internal/external partners.
• Attend huddle calls and center director meetings.
• Prepare audit documentation and notify audits.
• Demonstrate ownership for assigned centers.
• Perform duties timely and accurately.
