Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. seeks a subscriptions editor to join the editorial digital subscriptions team in New York. You will connect our global subscriber base with stories and videos to deepen engagement and develop ways to convert new users.

You will partner with newsroom, audience, marketing and product teams to plan around major news moments, manage email touchpoints, and enhance subscriber experiences across Bloomberg's site and app.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a digital newsroom.
• Excellent news judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong writing and editing skills with compelling headlines.
• Curiosity, creativity and willingness to experiment.
• Strong collaboration across multiple teams.
• Comfort working with data and analytics tools to inform editorial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with newsroom, audience and marketing teams to coordinate plans around major news moments.
• Manage subscriber touchpoints including the email program at scale.
• Develop strategies to build engagement for Bloomberg's video product.
• Shape subscriber-facing experiences across Bloomberg's website and app.
• Identify opportunities to experiment based on subscriber data and trends.
• Track and report on performance of subscriber engagement initiatives.
