You will build and verify models, analyze test data, and develop streamlined workflows across the team's tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience with MATLAB acquired via coursework or internship.
• Passion for developing high-quality models and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand submarine launcher and ship control systems.
• Develop physics-based modeling and simulation tools to predict missile ejection and underwater travel.
• Analyze flight test data to assess system performance and verify models.
• Develop streamlined workflows across the team's modeling/analysis tools.
• Prepare technical reports and brief presentations to staff and sponsors.
