Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience with MATLAB from coursework or prior internship.
  • Passion for developing high-quality models and software tools.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Eligible for Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of submarine launcher and ship control systems.
  • Contribute to physics-based modeling and simulations for missile ejection and underwater travel.
  • Analyze flight test data to assess performance and validate models.
  • Develop streamlined workflows across modeling and analysis tools.
  • Prepare technical reports and brief presentations to staff and sponsors.
