Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics or a related technical field with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Knowledge and practical experience in either Python or C++
  • Strong interest in modeling and simulation design, signal processing related to radar or communications systems, decision processes, resource optimization and allocation schema, or MBSE
  • Above average interpersonal and communications skills
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizens eligible for Interim Secret/Secret clearance; security clearance investigation required

Responsibilities

  • Develop dynamic, interacting physics-based models/simulations for sensor, C2, and weapon systems performance
  • Develop tools applying data analytic and statistical methodologies to analyze current systems and root cause performance issues
  • Mature cutting edge concepts to improve Navy situational awareness and resource allocation
  • Contribute to early research into promising technologies supporting defense applications
