Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to support the Paducah, KY site with contract administration duties. The role involves preparing RFP packages, reviewing bid tabulations, updating contract terms, and coordinating with project teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Occasional site presence may occur to negotiate and manage variances, with emphasis on safety and accurate deliverable tracking. Requirements include a BA/BS in a related field with 5+ years of experience, strong

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• DOE "L" clearance or ability to obtain a DOE "L" clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lists of contractors to which requests for proposals may be submitted and compile RFP packages.
• Review bid tabulations and modify and update scope, terms and conditions, and commercial terms of contracts.
• Coordinate with disciplines to summarize bid proposals and make recommendations to project management for approval.
• Conduct pre-award conferences with contractors and clients to ensure common understanding of the subcontract.
• Award contracts via phone, telex, or letter and administer/close contracts in accordance with FAR/DEAR and project procedures.
• Prepare subcontract documents, incorporating changes to scope, terms and commercial terms as specified, and route for signature.
• Track status of contractual deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• May be located at the job site to act as a local negotiator for variances, monitor compliance, and assist with payments.
