Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to support the Paducah, KY site with contract formation and management. The role involves preparing requests for proposals, reviewing bid tabulations, and updating contract terms and commercial conditions.

You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, conduct pre-award conferences, and monitor deliverables for compliance. The position requires a BA/BS in a related field with 5+ years of experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and DOE clearance or

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• DOE 'L' clearance or ability to obtain a DOE 'L' clearance

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to which request for proposals may be submitted, compiling request for proposal packages
• Prepare and review bid tabulations and modify the scope, terms and conditions, and commercial terms of contract
• Coordinate with disciplines to summarize bid proposals and present recommendations to project management
• Conduct pre-award conference with contractors and clients to ensure common understanding of the subcontract
• Assist in awarding contract via phone, telex, or letter and manage contract closeout per FAR/DEAR
• Prepare subcontract documents incorporating changes from involved parties and route for signature
• Track status of deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• May relocate to job site to act as local negotiator and coordinator for variances
• Monitor contractor compliance and adherence to schedules; recommend payments
• Maintain safety knowledge and participate in Safety Work Groups
