Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Senior Subcontracts Manager to lead cradle-to-grave subcontract administration for a busy government contracting portfolio. You will mentor a team, develop sourcing strategies, and coordinate with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security and program offices to ensure compliant contract execution.

You will apply knowledge of FAR/DFARS, drive risk-based sourcing, and maintain strong vendor relationships while supporting pre- and post-award activities.

Qualifications

• 4 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in a related field; 2 years with a Master's.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, GSA Schedules, IDIQ vehicles, and related procurement laws.
• Strong relationship-building and relationship-management experience.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of subcontract administrators; mentor staff.
• Supervise, develop, and manage staff objectives and performance.
• Build relationships with internal business owners to support proposals.
• Identify solutions within the CPSR-approved framework.
• Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contract language.
• Prepare subcontract agreements and related documents.
• Obtain approvals from Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor expiring contracts and mentor team to prevent lapses.
• Build and maintain external vendor relationships.
• Provide input to Strategic Sourcing policies and procedures.
• Respond to contract audit reviews and reporting requirements.
