Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Management professional to oversee cradle-to-grave subcontracting for multiple Federal Defense programs. You will develop, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and company policies.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and senior management, with the option to telework up to 95% and the potential to influence bid strategy for high-dollar proposals.

Qualifications

• Requires BA degree and 8–12 years of experience or Masters with 6–10 years.
• Must be US Citizen.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions.
• Experience managing various subcontract types and interfacing with internal customers and suppliers.
• Strong organizational, written, critical thinking and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of the FAR and DFAR.

Responsibilities

• Create subcontract solicitations from customer requirements after analyzing flow-downs.
• Analyze and estimate price proposals using cost/price analysis techniques.
• Negotiate terms/conditions, specs/SOW, price, delivery, and licensing with subcontractors.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and support teams.
• Coach junior staff on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Demonstrate business acumen and cross-functional impact of contracting activities.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to aid problem resolution.
